Step 1: Your assignment is to create a pathfinder for the topic you are assigned.
Step 2: GO TO YOUR ASSIGNED TOOL, REGISTER, AND SPEND A LITTLE WHILE LEARNING HOW TO USE THE TOOL. THEN:
Step 3: THINK ABOUT
  • Who your audience is
  • How you can break the topic down into subtopics...by different kinds of resources (such as images, videos, reference sites)?? By subtopics related to the main topic??
  • What online resources/search engines/social media perhaps, will you use to find the appropriate sources for your pathfinder?
  • What elements will you incorporate to make your pathfinder useful, appealing, and age appropriate?? Refer to Annette Lamb's page for ideas.
Step 4: Your pathfinder should BE LINKED OR EMBEDDED INTO OUR PATHFINDER SWAP PAGE--PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME UNDER IT. BE PREPARED TO PRESENT YOUR PATHFINDER TO THE CLASS AND TO TALK ABOUT POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES OF THE TOOL YOU WERE ASSIGNED.
